Sailors were out in full force this week in New York City.  I am sure they were trying out their individual pick-up strategies.  I met a couple of this young guys at a bar in the East Village last Wednesday.  They were adorable in their whites and didn't have to try to hard to get phone numbers.  My friend was looking to get an invite to the infamous Saturday night fleet week party and wasn't afraid to use me in this endeavour.  It didn't hurt that she was pretending we were their age.  So, the moral of this story is that women sometimes use pick-up tricks as well.
